How to Maintain and Fix a Single Cardan Universal Joint on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500?

To service a cardan universal joint, take the propeller shaft off and release the snap rings. Use an arbor press to remove the bearing caps by tapping if necessary. Apply grease, position cross and install bearing caps with snap rings. Finally, apply grease and reinstate the propeller shaft.
