How to service and repair the hood latch on 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Van?

To repair the hood latch, open the hood and make a mark of its position. Remove the latch nuts and release the cable. Reinstall the latch, connect the cable and tighten with nuts at 10 N.m torque. Test the latch and adjust as needed and then close the hood.
