How to Maintain and Fix a Battery Cable on 2003 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

Before servicing the battery cable, turn the ignition to the Off position and make sure every electrical item is off. Take away power from the remote battery by isolating its negative cable seal. Next, remove and disconnect each battery cable retaining pushpin, fastener and clipping all together until the cables become loose and then let the battery cable assembly leave the vehicle. When installing, fit the battery cable in place inside the vehicle and use one pushpin, fastener or routing clip at a time until it is where it was originally installed. Attach the battery's negative cable to its main negative post.
