2003 Dodge Stratus ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service an ABS Control Module on 2003 Dodge Stratus?
A: First, unplug the battery's negative cable and raise your vehicle to service the Electronic Brake Control Module. To remove the 24-way and the pump/motor Cab connectors, pull up on the connector lock from within the Cab. Loosen the bolts keeping the integrated control unit bracket secured to the support under the lower radiator and then move the unit carefully to the right, keeping the brake tubes straight. Take off the screws that hold the Cab to the Hcu half of the Icu and pull out the Cab. To assemble, get the Cab in place over the Hcu part of the Icu and fasten it with screws applying a force of 2 Nm (17 In. lbs). Put the Icu mounting bracket back into its spot under the radiator and tighten the bolts to 28 Nm (21 Ft. lbs.) of torque. Connect the 24-way electrical and the pump/motor wire connectors, raise the vehicle and link the negative battery terminal back on. Then, attach a Drbiii to the vehicle and turn on the device.
