How to Locate, Remove, and Install a Knock Sensor on 2004 Chrysler 300M?

Underneath the intake manifold and in the cylinder block is where you will find the knock sensor. The first step is to take off the intake manifold plenum to remove it. After that, remove the knock sensor by disconnecting the connector and using a crows foot socket. While installing, put the new sensor in place and tighten it with 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.), as anything over or less can make the spark control flawed. After attaching the sensor, plug the connector back in and fit the intake manifold plenum.
