How to Maintain the Thermostat in a 3.5L Engine on 2004 Chrysler 300M?

To maintain the 3.5L engine coolant thermostat one must loosen the negative cable and empty the cooling system. Take away thermostat gasket, temperature controller and thermostat. Wipe the surfaces, and install the new thermostat, and screw it in. Install reconnect hoses and electrical connectors, lower the car, refill the cooling system and replace the negative cable.
