  A: Before working on the battery tray, first take the negative battery cable off and away from the circuit, then bring out the battery. After that, detach the fasteners holding the battery tray into place and slide the tray far enough to unplug the drain hose assembly, then pull the tray from underneath the car. Put the battery tray into place inside the vehicle, hook the drainage hose and use the fasteners to secure the battery tray. Installed the battery next and attach the negative battery cable.
