How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Start the headlamp bulb service by lifting the headlamp access cover under the splash shield. At this point, turn the socket loosely counterclockwise a quarter turn to detach it and afterward pull out the bulb and socket from the housing. Cut the wire connector from the bulb of the high or low beam of your headlight. Always try not to touch the glass with anything greasy when installing the bulb to keep it lasting longer. Attach the wire connector to the back of the new headlamp high or low beam bulb, set the bulb into the headlamp housing and ensure the socket is rotated clockwise just a quarter turn. After attaching the lamps, make sure they light up and then replace the headlamp access cover into the opening in the splash shield.
