To maintain the timing belt tensioner, take off the timing belt and idler pulley with the sprockers of the camshaft. Unscrew the back timing belt cover and the lower bolt of the tensioner assembly. Install tensioner, torque bolts and reinstall parts making sure the parts are properly aligned and not to use impact wrenches on sprocket bolts.
