- Q: How to Maintain the Weather Strip on a Sunroof Glass Panel on 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser?A: Before fixing the sunroof glass panel seal, open the sunroof, lift the panel out and put it on a clean work area so that the top folds up and from under it, you support the glass panel to protect the mounting tabs. Pull the one-piece seal carefully from the glass panel. While installing, put the seal seam in the center of the glass panel's passenger side. Set the seal in place and gently install it along the glass to make sure it's not stretched. After that, set the sunroof glass panel in its place and test the sunroof's functionality along with its alignment.
