How to Service and Repair a Hood Latch on 2004 Dodge Neon?

To service the hood latch, remove the fasteners from the top of the grille and remove the nuts that hold the latch to the radiator closure panel. Disengage the remote release cable, and then remove the latch. For installation, reverse the process, making sure to latch it and line up the hood.
