  A: To work on the hood latch, first take out the fasteners securing the grille to the top of the radiator closure panel. After that, take out the nuts from the hood latch at the radiator opening with a socket and extension and carefully remove both the grille and the hood latch assembly. Release the remote release cable from where it is locked to the firearm. Before you remove the grille, release the hood latch, open the hood and hold it up with a prop rod, then remove the nuts from the hood latch and the radiator closure panel, plus take out the hood latch and unhook the remote release cable. To install, attach the end of the remote release cable to the latch, pull backwards on the grille and sit the hood latch onto the front of the radiator panel. Fit the nuts and secure them with 15 N.m (11 ft.lbs.), after which you should fasten the upper brackets of the grille. Before installing the grille, engage the remote release cable into the latch, place the hood latch onto the radiator closure panel and set the nuts securely on the panel to 15 N.m (11 ft..lbs.).
