How to Remove and Install the Center Console Base on 2004 Dodge Ram 2500?

Removal of mini floor console requires the 4WD gear shift boot, gear shift lever extension and console inserts to be removed. Take the bolts that hold the rear console unscrewed, lift it, and take the front console off. Installation requires reversing the steps making sure to use new fasteners and tighten them to recommended torque values.
