Before handling the air cleaner, you should clear the heat shield and part the air flow sensor from the housing. Take out the housing lid from the air cleaner and remove the air filter inside. First, put and seat the new air cleaner in the housing and close the housing cover with the retainers secured in place. After you connect the air flow sensor to the housing cover, connect the air cleaner restriction sensor and then reinstall the heat shield.
