How to Remove and Install a Fuel Level Sensor from the Fuel Pump Module on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The fuel level sensor, measuring around one third, is located on the side of the air pump module inside the fuel tank. You should first take out the fuel tank, after which you can remove the fuel pump module. Remove the electrical connector from the fuel level sensor terminals and push up on the button above the release tab so the fuel level sensor can be removed from the pump module. To install the unit, fix it to the pump module, snap it into place, hook up the wire connector to the terminals, insert the pump module back into the car and mount the fuel tank.
