How to Service and Repair an Alternator on 2005 Chrysler 300?

To fix the alternator, disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the drive belt. Disconnect the field circuit plug, remove the B+ terminal nut and wire and remove the generator. Reinstall by securing generator, tightening bolts and reconnecting components including drive belt and battery cable.
