How to Service and Repair a Timing Cover on 2005 Chrysler 300?

In order to repair timing cover, disconnect negative battery cable, empty the cooling system and splash shield. Unbolt the accessory drive belts and crankshaft damper, then unbolt the timing chain cover. Wipe down the clean surfaces, replace the gasket, and assemble the elements, such as the oil seal and splash shield.
