2005 Chrysler 300 Washer Pump Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Washer Pump on 2005 Chrysler 300?
A: You should begin by taking off and isolating the battery's black cable before servicing and repairing the headlamp washer pump. Take out the washer fluid from the reservoir to a clean container by removing the washer hose from the front pump and inserting a jumper hose to drain it out. Unknown how to do it. Then, pull the end of the high pressure headlamp washer pump motor connector out of the connector (1) and pull the pump out of the reservoir by tugging it straight up. Discard the pump grommet that came with your bike. To put on the new pump assembly, first use a new grommet and make certain that the pump is installed correctly in the reservoir. Put the washer reservoir back onto the car, join the electrical harness connectors with the pump motors and the fluid level sensor and carefully attach the high pressure hose to the inlet until there's a positive snap. Drag the fluid from the bottle into the reservoir and hook the bike's negative cable to the battery again.
