How Does Wheelhouse Assist in Servicing the Rear Fender Liner on 2005 Chrysler Pacifica?

Before you service the rear fender liner, lift and steady the vehicle on safety stands and remove the rear wheel. Then, take the screw out that holds the rear wheelhouse splash shield to the cladding and next, remove four push pin fasteners securing it to the inner wheelhouse and two more that hold it to the rear fascia aperture bracket. Take the splash shield off the vehicle once you've cleared the grille and other components. Start by putting the splash shield in position and replacing four old push pin fasteners to fix it to the wheelhouse, then come back and use two new push pin fasteners to secure the rear apron guard onto the rear fascia aperture bracket. After installing the screw that holds the splash shield to the rear cladding, replace the rear wheel. Afterward, remove the safety stands and drive the vehicle to the ground.
