How to Service and Repair the Neutral Safety Switch in a 41TE Automatic Transmission on 2005 Dodge Caravan?

Remove the valve body from the 41TE Automatic Transmission assembly first, before servicing or repairing the Transmission Position Switch/Sensor. After that, use the supplied Torx wrench to take out the retaining screw and remove the sensor from the valve body. Take out the TRS from the manual shaft. On installation, screw the TRS to the valve body, attaching it at a torque of 5 Nm (45 inch lbs.). To complete this section, secure the valve body to the transaxle with 18 bolts and torque them all to 12 N.m (105 in.lb.).
