How to Service and Repair a Neutral Safety Switch on 2006 Dodge Caravan?

You should remove the valve body assembly from the transaxle before servicing or repairing the transmission range sensor. After that, loosen and remove the screw for the transmission range sensor (3). Then, lift the sensor (1) out of the valve body and take out the TRS (1) from the manual shaft. Apply the sensor end of the TRS (1) to the fork of the valve body, fasten the retaining screw (3) to 5 Nm (45 inch lbs.) and reinstall the valve body into the transaxle afterward.
