How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2005 Dodge Neon?

Before tending to the bulb, please remember to disconnect and save the battery negative cable. Bend the fascia as you remove the two screws from the headlamp unit, giving you access to the lower set of screws you need to take out to remove the fascia. After taking the headlamp out, remove the wire plug from the back of it and turn the retaining ring counterclockwise a quarter turn to remove it. Take care to avoid touching the glass of the new bulb and the headlamp module with fingers or oil, because this can shorten the life of the bulb. Turn the retaining ring clockwise one quarter turn and link the wire connector to the rear of the headlamp bulb. Put back the headlamp unit, use the two screws to connect the crossmember to the headlamp unit and place the screws for the fascia back into the upper radiator crossmember. Insert the battery's negative cable after the positive cable is attached.
