How to Service a Muffler on a 5.9L Diesel Engine on 2005 Dodge Ram 2500?

In order to service a 5.9L diesel engine muffler, detach the battery, and raise the vehicle, then unscrew clamps and hangers. Install the new muffler attaching it on pipes and making sure that it is properly aligned and in torque. Ensure that there is a clearance of 25.4 mm, re-attach battery, and check leakage.
