How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Handle Actuator on 2005 Dodge Ram 3500?

Take out the door trim panel before you work on the rear door interior handle. Later, remove the waterdam so you can disconnect the actuator rod from its connection with the interior door handle actuator. Take out the two bolts holding the actuator to the door and unmount the actuator. To set up the interior actuator, secure it to the door and tighten the two bolts to the right torque: 10 N.m (89 in.lbs.). Fit the rod from the actuator inside the interior door handle, move the waterdam back into place and put on the door trim panel.
