  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Tie Rod End on 2005 Dodge Ram 3500?
A: Before servicing the tie rod end, unscrew the tie rod nuts and take the tie rod off its position between the drag link and left knuckle using Puller C-4150A. For installation, tie the tie rod to the left steering knuckle and drag link and tighten the nuts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.) with a final 90 degrees of one more turn. After taking away the floor supports, guide the car all the way down, place the steering wheel in the center and adjust the toe before driving off.
