How to Maintain and Fix a Battery Cable on 2005 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

Before working on the battery cable, turn the key to Off and turn off all electrical accessories. Disconnect the single leg of the negative battery cable on the remote side. First, separate the battery cable from where it is connected with the pushpins and fasteners, move each routing dip aside as you go along and finally pull the battery cable assembly away from the vehicle when it is totally separated. Once the battery cable is in the vehicle, mount the battery cable pushpins, fasteners and routing dips one each, one by one, until the cable is in its factory-installed place. At the end, attach the negative terminal of the battery.
