How to Service and Repair a Right Engine Mount on 2005 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

Before servicing the correct engine mount, install engine support fixture #8534 using adaptors #853416 and lift the engine a bit. After that, lift and hold up the vehicle to access and remove the engine mount bolts. Place the vehicle's engine above floor level by using the engine support fixture and letting the weight come off the mounts. Once again, lifter the car to give access to the nuts and haul out the old engine mount, as described above. To install the engine mount, slide it into the stop plate and in place, tightening the retaining nuts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.). First, let the vehicle rest on the ground and then gradually drive the engine to sit on the engine mounts. Fasten the engine support to engine mount bolt by hand, position the engine on the mount and lock in the bolt with a torque of 83 Nm (61 ft. lbs.). Don't forget to remove the engine support fixture and everything holding it in place.
