How to Service the Rear Door Check on 2005 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

Before servicing the rear door check, first open the door and release the check arm from its place in the receiver. Next up, open the door, unscrew the lock and remove the check arm and when equipped, also remove the d-pillar trim. Following that, remove the rivets to get the receiver out. In the first step, set up the receiver and use it to put back the rivets. After your vehicle comes with d-pillar trim, check arm and screws, set those in their positions. After that, tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 in.lbs.) using an appropriate tool.
