2005 Dodge Sprinter 3500 Door Latch Assembly Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2005 Dodge Sprinter 3500?
A: Begin by taking off the negative battery terminal to work on the rear door latch. After that, get rid of the right side trim panel and separate the lock rod from the door. Once that's done, take out the screws and pull the latch out of the door, making sure to unconnect the cables and wires, too. Place the electrical connectors and cable onto the latch assembly, put the latch in the door and fix it in place with screws. Place back the lock rod, reinstall the trim panel on the right and lastly, put the negative cable of the battery.
