How to Maintain and Fix the Hood Cable on 2005 Dodge Stratus?

In order to repair the hood cable, the hood latch and left front cowl trim panel need to be removed. Remove the hood release handle and cable clips and remove the grommet and fastener. Install the new cable and secure it in place and reassemble the components as well making sure it is properly torqued and engaged.
