How to Service and Repair the Neutral Safety Switch for the 41TE Automatic Transaxle on 2005 Dodge Stratus?

Before servicing or repairing the Transmission Position Switch/Sensor for the 41TE Automatic Transaxle, first remove the valve body assembly. After that, undo the screw that holds the transmission range sensor and remove the sensor from the valve body. Lift off the TRS from the shaft that controls the turn signal. Attach the TRS to the valve body, then tighten the retaining screw to 5 Nm (45 inch lbs.). After that, reattach the valve body to the transaxle.
