How to Service the Neutral Safety Switch on a 41TE Automatic Transaxle on 2006 Dodge Stratus?

You should first take out the valve body from the 41TE transaxle before adjusting the Transmission Position Switch/Sensor. After that, get rid of the screw in the transmission range sensor and take out the sensor from the valve body, then pluck out the TRS from the manual shaft. Next, mount the transmission range sensor back onto the valve body and tighten the bolt only to a 5 Nm (45 inch lb.) torque setting, then fix the valve body back into the transaxle.
