How to Service the Thermostat for a 2.0L/2.4L Engine on 2005 Dodge Stratus?

To maintain the 2.0L/2.4L engine coolant thermostat, it is essential to make sure that the system is cool and then partially drain the cooling system. Unscrew disconnection hoses, disconnect coolant outlet connector and thermostat. Cleaning of surfaces, replace the old thermostat with the new one, tighten the bolts up to 12.5 Nm, reconnect hoses and fill the cooling system.
