How to Service and Repair a Vapor Canister on 2005 Dodge Stratus?

Disconnect the negative battery cable as the first step to servicing and repairing the Evaporative Emission Control Canister. Remove the fuel tank and after that, disconnect the EVAP hoses and the electrical connector from the EVAP canister. Push down on the tabs next to the lower bracket to remove the EVAP canister and swing it sideways. Loosen the canister from the upper end nutrition stand. When installing, place the EVAP canister on the top bracket, move it down into the lower bracket and snap it securely in place. Connect the hoses to the top of the canister and then join the electrical connector. After that, reattach the fuel tank and connect the battery cable's negative end.
