How to Service and Repair a Door Latch Assembly on 2005 Dodge Viper?

First, take off the door trim panel, then remove the watershield. After that, take the three latch screws out and remove the electrical connector. Separate the latch grommets and cut the cables with a small flat bladed tool before you remove the latch. During installation, fit the latch parts into the door hole, hook up all the cables and plugs and place and tighten the three bolts to 12 N.m (9 ft.lbs.). Then, attach the watershield and the trim panel.
