How to Maintain and Fix a Door Handle on 2005 Dodge Viper?

Start by opening the door and taking out the rubber grommet from the access hole at the door's edge. Take a small, flat bladed utensil and loosen the handle cover trapped inside the access hole. After that, take out the two bolts holding in the handle assembly. Pull back the lever with your hand and take out the shipping screw. Remove the door trim panel, then remove the electrical connector before getting out the handle assembly. Installation involves putting the outside handle in place and then connecting the door's electricity with the electrical connector. Insert the shipping screw to free up the handle lever, next mount the bolts and tighten them to 5 N.m (45 in.lbs.) after alignment. Fit the door trim onto the door, put the door handle cover in place and lastly, insert the rubber grommet into your access hole.
