2005 Dodge Viper Steering Column Cover Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Steering Column Cover on the Instrument Panel on 2005 Dodge Viper?
A: Removing the two lower screws is the first requirement when servicing the instrument panel steering column cover. Cut the upper clips apart with C-4755 or another tool, then roll the cover's left edge down and remove the clip fastened on the right side at the tunnel. Take out the electrical plug cable from the adjustable pedal switch and remove the cover. When setting up, attach the adjustable pedal switch connector, put the cover into position and check that the right clip at the tunnel is completely installed. Secure the upper clips along the left edge, put in the upper screws and press up the left cover side until the screws go in.
