How to Service and Repair a Right Engine Mount on 2006 Chrysler 300?

The first step for fixing and repairing engine mounts is to remove the negative battery cable from the trunk, along with the air cleaner housing. First, raise the wheels and take out the lower cover from each side of the engine, then unbolt the engine mount nuts and engine mount studs from the right-hand engine mount isolator. Stick a piece of wood under the oil pan and lift the engine with jackstands. Afterward, remove the bolts linking the engine mount isolator to the engine mount adapter and remove the engine mount isolator. Attach the engine mount isolator to the engine mount adapter with the assistance of bolts, turning the bolts to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.). Lift the mounting base out just below the frame, reinstall the engine mounts and tighten them to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.). After setting the motor lower, remove the lifting device and lock down the engine mount isolator with 75 Nm of effort (55 ft. lbs.). Carefully fit and tighten the lower splash shield, with the bolts, lower the car, install the air cleaner housing and finally reattach the negative battery cable.
