How to Service and Repair an Evaporator Core on 2006 Chrysler Town & Country?

Take down the HVAC case in front and remove what is necessary to see the evaporator core in front. After peeling back the rubber flange seal, take out the front A/C evaporator and insulator from the front HVAC case. Replacing the insulator becomes necessary if it looks bent or damaged. When necessary, take out the insulator from the front A/C evaporator. Always add 50 mL (1.7 fl. oz.) of oil that is suggested for the compressor when putting in a new front A/C evaporator. Should the insulator need to be replaced, install it over the front AC evaporator, check that the front evaporator drain tube is clean and not blocked and that the insulator and its rubber flange seal are fixed correctly. Then, set the front A/C evaporator in the lower part of the front HVAC housing and fasten the seal, after that, assemble the HVAC housing.
