How to Service and Repair a Window Regulator on 2006 Chrysler Town & Country?

The first steps to servicing or repairing the window regulator is to take off the watershield, the inner belt molding and the door glass. Loose the screws where the front and rear window guides connect to the inner door panel and take out the heads of the screws from the slots in the panel. After that, unscrew the screws that hold the regulator to the inner door panel and take out the regulator. Take the rear guide rail from the door panel access hole at the back and the front guide rail from the access hole at the front. Slide the front guide rail into the front hole in the frame and follow with the rear rail through the hole at the back. Put the window regulator on the inner door panel and line up the screw heads with the keyholes in the guide rails on the door panel. Elevate the front and back guide rails 8.5 to 10.7 N.m (75 to 95 in. lbs.) and regulator 2.8 N.m (25 in. lbs.), while repeating the order as stated. Install the door glass, test to see that it is aligned correctly and restore the rest of the door storage.
