How to Service and Repair an Engine Mount on the Left Side on 2006 Dodge Caravan?

Service the left engine mount by first elevating the car up on a hoist and taking out its left-front wheel. After that, open up the left mount access cover and unbolt it and then lift the transaxle using a beneath it. Take off the front mount bolt on the engine to give you more space to remove the left mount. After that, remove the left mount from the frame rail with the bolt. Before accessing the horizontal bolts, lower the transaxle so you can get to the mount fasteners and unscrew them; the transaxle might need to go lower in order to remove the mount completely. Following the left mount's removal, install the new mount on the transaxle and jack it up until the mount rests in position on the car. Put the left mount on with the through bolt, replace the cover on the left mount's bolt and then bolt on the front mount again. After that, connect the left front wheel and place your car back on the ground.
