How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2006 Dodge Dakota?

To service the headlamp bulb, disconnect the battery negative cable and disconnect the front lamp unit. Turn the bulb socket anti-clockwise to release and then pull it out. Use appropriate type bulb, don't touch the glass and replace again by aligning and locking the socket. Reconnect the front lamp unit to the car and reconnect the battery.
