How to Service a Power Steering Hose from the Gear to the Cooler on 2006 Dodge Ram 1500?

Before you can service the return hose, drain the power steering system and support the vehicle on lift. Detach the return hose from both the cooler and the gear, then, after removing it from the clamp on the fan shroud at the vehicle, take it out. First, connect the return hose to the car, then put it back at the cooler and the gear and make sure it is secure to 50 Nm or 37 ft. lbs. Slide the kinked hose into the routing clip on the fan shroud, remove the support to lower the vehicle and add enough fluid to the power steering system.
