How to Remove and Install the Ignition Lock Assembly on 2006 Dodge Ram 2500?

To remove an ignition key cylinder, insert the key and disconnect the negative cable on the battery. Take off the steering column covers and place the shifter in PARK. The key will be rotated to RUN, press the retaining pin and draw out the cylinder. For installation, line up and push the cylinder in until it clicks and reassemble.
