2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Headlight Bulb Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2006 Dodge Ram 3500?
A: First, separate the negative terminal on the battery before touching the headlamp bulb. Untie the front lamp unit from beneath the front fender. Twist the bulb socket at the back of the front lamp unit, pulling it away from the clockwise direction until you feel it unlock, then take the whole socket and bulb out in the straight direction from the keyed slot in the housing. Use bulbs of the proper size and kind to be certain they won't overheat or become damaged. Set the headlamp socket and bulb unit together over the keyed opening at the back of the front lamp unit housing, push them in and twist the socket clockwise about 30 degrees so it locks in. Attach the front lamp unit back onto the front fender and link the battery negative cable.
