How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

In order to service the Ambient Temperature Sensor, one should disconnect the battery negative cable and take off the front license plate bracket. Unscrew the wire harness of the sensor, take out the sensor and affix the new sensor and reassemble the sensor harness. Lastly, reattach the bracket and re-attach the battery cable.
