2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 Headlight Bulb Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500?
A: Before servicing the low beam headlamp bulb, take out the battery negative cable. Take off the front lamp unit rear cover by pulling out and swinging the metal tabs that hold it to the lamp unit. After that, take the front lamp unit wire harness connector from the base of the low beam headlamp bulb. Push the low beam headlamp bulb retainer somewhat forward and then straight down from the base of the bulb, before spinning it off. Pull out the low beam headlamp bulb using the support part in the front lamp unit reflector. Insert the headlamp bulb into the front lamp unit reflector so the lugs line up with the holes in the other part of the bulb holder. Swing the low beam headlamp bulb clip around the base of the bulb, press it gently toward the front lamp housing and move it upward along the side of the bulb. Connect the wire harness for the front lamp unit to the base of the low beam headlamp bulb, then set the back side of the unit onto the lamp housing and hold in place using the retainers. After that, attach the negative terminal of the battery again.
