How to Locate and Replace a Camshaft Position Sensor on 2006 Dodge Viper?

The camshaft position sensor is located on top of the water pump, and it can be replaced by detaching the harness, making a note of the depth, and unscrewing the mounting bolt. After having checked the o-ring and adjusted the sensor depth, install it with a slight rocking motion, tighten the bolt and reconnect the harness.
