2007 Chrysler 300 A/C Hose Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair an A/C Hose on 2007 Chrysler 300?
A: Before you begin, be sure to disconnect and remove the negative battery cable from its connection. Recover the refrigerant inside the refrigerant system and take out the air cleaner housing. Open the headlamp opening in the upper radiator support to take off the nut joining the A/C discharge line to the A/C condenser. Take the A/C discharge line off of the A/C condenser and toss the dual plane seal. Put plugs into or tape over the discharge line fitting and condenser inlet port. After that, unfasten the threaded nut attaching the discharge line to the A/C compressor, detach the discharge line from the compressor and throw out the dual plane seal. Plug or apply tape to the opened vintage refrigerant line socket and the compressor before you start to remove the air conditioning line.
