How to Service and Repair an Air Duct on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?

Always remember to cover the front part of the instrument panel before you begin air duct service and repair. To begin, remove the instrument panel and put it down on a workbench and then remove the cover from the instrument panel top. After that, remove the defroster duct and the screws that connect the wire harness to the instrument panel support. After that, remove the demister ducts, then get rid of the two screws fixing the center distribution duct to the instrument panel support. Take the center distribution duct out of the connector leading to the instrument panel and dislodge it. Removal of the driver side component requires unscrewing two screws in the rear of the instrument panel support, while eight screws hold the passenger instrument panel duct to the front cover of the instrument panel and must be taken out afterward. Take out the two screws at the top of the driver side/center panel duct that hold it to the instrument panel front cover and then lift and rotate the panel ducts as a single unit out of the instrument panel. At the end, detach the passenger side instrument panel duct from the driver side/center instrument panel duct.
